The Princess Warrior Foundation was created in honor of Jane Fiemeyer of Wadena, Minnesota. she was 7 years old when she was diagnosed with leukemia. Sadly, Jane passed away on September 6th, 2012, less than a month away from her 9th birthday. Jane had a dream to find a cure for cancer so that others didn't have to be in pain. Before her death, she shared a wish that her legacy would continue. Therefore, the mission of the Princess Warrior Foundation is to support local children with cancer, and their families.

The Princess Warrior Foundation currently serves the counties of Todd, Wadena and Ottertail. Because Jane wanted to see a cure for childhood cancer, exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.
